MHRD has launched National skill Qualification frome work for school children/students in the 9th class to 12th class session 2012-13.

 

                              Our state Govt. has accepted it as a optional subject in the curriculam. where as in other states it is an additional subject. In our state there are seven skills i.e. Auto mobile, Healthcare, Security, Information technologies, Retail, Agriculture and tourism. Out of these any two subjects are taught in a school. But in G.S.S.S. Karsog Automobile and healthcare have been introduced in 2012-13. One batch has passed out in session 2014-15. Govt. has provided facility of scholarship/Skill development allowance to students for Rs 1000 P.M. and after passing +2 level diploma along with +2 certificate. Facility of campus job placement in various trades are also available after passing +2 exam.There are limited number of seats in each class. Maximum enrollment may be  25 to 30 in 9th class. Procedure for admission is purely on Merit basis. Free computer facilities are also provided. Teaching learing process is based on audio-video aids and maximum practical trainings are provided to students of NSQF through field - industrial visits. so that they may acquire practical knowledge of the subject. I hope by acquiring Skilled knowledge learners will become a good citizen and the nation will progress in a phased manner.
